Codelpa signs an agreement with AERODOM to carry out remodeling works of the AILA

We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM a subsidiary of VINCI Airports) for the implementation of important improvements in the infrastructure of the central atrium of the Las Americas International Airport, José Francisco Peña Gómez, which seeks to improve the passenger experience and offer the best gateways to the Dominican Republic.

    The works to be carried out as a contractor company, contemplate the renovation and expansion of the central atrium of the passenger terminal, which will have an area of ​​10,000 square meters with a wide view of the airport runway, in which the facilities will be relocated and modernized. security and migration services.

    This renovated area will allow the passenger to visually anticipate and enjoy once their security check is completed of a recreation space, duty free shops, restaurants and bars.

    The project scope includes the demolition and remodeling of the current centralized areas of migration and security, construction of an expansion towards the runway to allow vertical movements, the construction of a remodeled area for the security and migration check, which will have new and modern floors, ceilings, furniture, lighting, air conditioning.

    During its execution, the normal operations of the airport will be maintained, for which AERODOM and CODELPA have prepared a detailed communication and signaling plan that seeks to minimize inconvenience during the construction process.
