With the construction of Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino, Codelpa continues to build the Dominican tourism

The majestic infrastructure of the hotel consolidates Codelpa’s engineering experience in the construction of works that transcend.

Bávaro, Punta Cana.- For more than 30 years, Constructora del Pais (Codelpa) has developed important buildings that create the foundations of the tourist and economic development of the Dominican Republic. Its most recent infrastructure is the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino, an impressive architectural work that makes it the most imposing of the Caribbean region.

The use of state-of-the-art engineering allowed the construction to take place in a record time of 15 months. Worked under the highest standards of quality, the work has a total construction area of more than 160,000 square meters, combining a modern, organic and classic style; which combines structural and natural elements creating a perfect harmony, composed of nine buildings connected to each other by means of porticoes and three patios with exuberant vegetation.

Codelpa’s commitment to construction excellence converts more than 110,000 cubic meters of concrete and 15,700 tons of steel into the most impressive luxury hotel in the country. The entry into operation of these 1,042 new rooms, which as of today are available for local and foreign visitors, will increase the accommodation capacity of the country. One more contribution that will achieve the goal of receiving 10 million tourists by 2022.

The project includes areas adapted for all publics. Among them stands out the Village with its outdoor paths and with a commercial, gastronomic and entertainment offer; in addition to being a trade center, it functions as an important meeting point for the entire project. All this contrasts perfectly with green gardens, mirrors and water threads intertwined with architecture, which create a creative playful place, offering a diversity of spaces for relaxation. This project marks a milestone in the history of the country thanks to its impressive infrastructure. In addition, it has a theater with capacity for more than 900 people and a skilled club for more than 700 guests. Another precedent in the construction of this magnificent building is the location of the service area, built underground, which facilitates access to offer the necessary services to all areas of the hotel.

Palmeras Del Este 1 & 2 Inauguration and Palmeras del Este 3 and 4 First Pick

On Tuesday February 19th was the opening ceremony of our projects Palmeras del Este 1 and 2, as well as the first pick to start the construction work of the residential Palmeras del Este 3 and 4 in Ciudad Juan Bosch, Santo Domingo Este. President Danilo Medina led the activity, accompanied by several ministers and personalities linked to the business field of construction and tourism.

The central words of the event were in charge of our president Álvaro Peña, who said he was grateful to be part of the solution to the social debt that represents the issue of access to housing. He said that Ciudad Juan Bosch is a space that was thought, planned and designed with its own services such as energy, water, transportation, schools, hospitals, childcare centers, people with disabilities and seniors, among other benefits.

“But besides that there are other things that are not seen. Ciudad Juan Bosch was designed with some interests for sustainable loans over time and a rate that does not vary. 90% of the price of housing is financed and, apart from that, the fees that would be paid for both the initial and the banks are equivalent to what they paid for something badly called housing, “he said.

Palmeras del Este 1 and 2 comprise a total of 848 apartments, while Palmeras del Este 3 and 4 will have a total of 1,008 additional apartments. The apartments are from 2 to 3 rooms and their prices are from RD$1.5MM. The residential style is characterized by modern and attractive structures. Both its interior and exterior have an avant-garde design, including recreational areas such as green boulevard, clubhouse, sports court, playground and urban gym.
